Hello everyone, I’m Trung, CEO of DeltaX Robotics.
It has been over six years since we first introduced our Delta X project and launched the Delta X 1 model. Throughout this journey, our team has faced countless challenges that could have halted our progress—from the COVID-19 pandemic, global economic downturns, and the uncertainties of conflict, to the typical hurdles any startup would encounter, such as limited resources, securing funding, and the constant pressure of technological innovation.
Yet, we’ve persisted, driven by a single overarching goal: to bring industrial-grade robotics technology closer to everyone, at an accessible cost, and in a compact, user-friendly form.
We successfully developed a prototype of Delta X S, a truly industrial-standard delta robot. However, transitioning to mass production and meeting stringent European standards presented a significant hurdle. Finding the capital to achieve this level of manufacturing and global compliance is no easy task, especially for a startup like ours.
That’s why we decided to take a more strategic step forward by introducing Delta X 3—a product designed to bridge the gap. Rather than waiting indefinitely until we could scale up production for Delta X S, we’ve created Delta X 3: the world’s first desktop-scale delta robot that still meets industrial performance criteria. This isn’t just a short-term solution; it’s a platform that reflects our technological vision and brings immediate value to those who need it now.
What is Delta X 3?
Delta X 3 is a compact robot engineered to fit on your desktop, yet it delivers performance you’d expect from full-scale industrial robots. Despite its small size, it can achieve pick-and-place speeds of up to 54 times per minute. It’s easy to use, safe to operate, and offers versatile programming interfaces (USB, TTL, Ethernet), making it accessible to everyone—students, educators, researchers, engineers, and small-scale manufacturers alike.
Why Delta X 3 Matters:
- Compact, Desktop-Friendly Size: Unlike traditional industrial robots that demand vast floor space and heavy investments in infrastructure, Delta X 3 fits right on a workbench, lab table, or classroom desk.
- Industrial-Grade Performance: Don’t let its size fool you. Delta X 3 meets industrial standards, providing the speed, precision, and reliability required for professional applications.
- Easy to Use, Broad Applications: We designed Delta X 3 with user-friendliness in mind. Whether you’re teaching robotics to students, conducting lab experiments, automating a portion of your workshop’s processes, or embarking on a creative DIY project, Delta X 3 adapts seamlessly to your needs.
- Cost-Effective: You don’t need to be a large enterprise or have an extensive budget. With Delta X 3, we’re lowering the barriers to advanced robotics, making it possible for more people to innovate, learn, and produce efficiently.
A Step Toward the Future:
Delta X 3 represents a crucial milestone in our long-term mission. It paves the way for us to eventually bring products like Delta X S to the global market while also offering a solution that meets the practical needs of users today. Think of Delta X 3 as both a testament to our technological capabilities and a stepping stone to a more inclusive, widespread adoption of industrial robotics.
Launch Date:
We plan to open pre-orders for Delta X 3 on December 21, 2024. From now until then, you can sign up on our website to receive the latest news and early-bird promotions.
A Word of Gratitude:
We know we wouldn’t be here without the support, feedback, and encouragement of our community, customers, and partners. The launch of Delta X 3 marks a significant moment for us—an opportunity to demonstrate that industrial robotics can be democratized, made more accessible, and integrated into a wide range of environments.
We look forward to your feedback, your stories, and your success with Delta X 3. Together, let’s move toward a future where automation is not a luxury but a versatile, cost-effective tool that fuels creativity and progress.
Sincerely,
Trung Doan Hong,
CEO, DeltaX Robotics
