Hello everyone, I'm Trung, the CEO of IMWI Technology, the company behind the development of the Delta X Robot Series.
First and foremost, I want to extend my sincerest apologies to all of you for the lack of updates over the past few years. It might have seemed like Delta X Robot was a forgotten project, but in reality, it has experienced a series of ups and downs, akin to a phoenix rising from the ashes. We faced numerous challenges, from failed crowdfunding attempts to navigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and economic downturns. However, in our toughest moments, we were fortunate to receive help from kind-hearted individuals worldwide—makers, researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs.
Interestingly, I intentionally refrained from updating our website or running extensive marketing campaigns. I was afraid that if we did so and the product gained too much attention, it might lead to more people buying the robot. While this might sound counterintuitive, it's because Delta X's product was not yet perfected, and I didn't want to burden users with an unfinished product. But to continue developing Delta X Robot, we needed to generate revenue.
Despite our slow progress, the development of Delta X has persisted. After five years of research and development, our goal of creating an affordable industrial delta robot has finally become a reality.
The initial release date for the Delta X S robot was December 21, 2021. However, it has been continuously postponed until September 15, 2023. It has been rescheduled multiple times, and I believe it's finally time. The upcoming September 15th will be the release date for the Delta X S.
The upcoming official release will be named Delta X S Official, and it's essentially the Delta X S V6 version with significant improvements. You can explore the different versions of Delta X S in this article.
So, what can Delta X S do? It's capable of handling nearly all automation projects that require speed and agility.
Here are some advantages of Delta X S:
1. Extremely low cost, significantly lower than traditional industrial robots, yet it achieves 60-80% of their performance.
2. Faster speed compared to most serial robots.
3. Expandable up to 6 degrees of freedom.
4. Operates seamlessly in industrial environments.
5. Easily integrates into other machines and packaging processes.
The benefits of ordering on July 15th include:
1. A 40% discount, reducing the price of the Delta X S D800 3-axis model to just $2,400 (5-20 times less expensive than conventional industrial robots with 60-80% performance).
2. Free use of AI Vision software (equivalent software on the market costs $5,000 per license).
3. Data labeling and training support for up to 4 AI vision models.
4. The option to place a $500 deposit (with an additional 20% discount), with the final payment due before the robot is shipped.
5. Your support can help Delta X Robotics become a successful company, and as a token of our gratitude, we plan to reimburse the first customers once the company succeeds (hopefully within 2 years).
Delta X S is poised to bring significant benefits to research, manufacturing, and businesses due to its cost-effectiveness and performance advantages. However, we acknowledge that it may have shortcomings, and we eagerly welcome your feedback to further improve it.
In addition to enhancing Delta X S Robot, I will also initiate open-source projects utilizing Delta X S to support the research and educational needs of the robotics community.
Stay tuned for more information on the robot and collaboration policies. The ordering link will be live on July 15th.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us, and together, we can help shape the future of robotics.
